In the nick of time! I don't think I have ever put together a page so quickly, and I must say it was kind of nice. No over thinking, no pushing things around, just laying things out and sticking them down. So I did the Kraft + challenge, their first ever challenge too. The challenge was this colour combo:
And here is my very quick page:
I used a piece of Kaisercraft patterned kraft for my background and then only project life cards to mat my photos.
The downside of quick last minute pages is photographing them at night! I think I will redo the photo in the morning with some close ups too.
Anyhoo, that's it from me. Thanks for stopping by.

*Edited*
So I am back with a better photo. It is amazing how much better the photo looks in natural light.
Love playing with the new mini hearts from Charm's Creations, and also in love with the wood drops from Pink Fresh Studio!
A few pretty flowers from D-lish Scraps and a couple of gold enamel dots.
All done now.

More D-lish Scraps shares
So, my other two monthly posts for D-lish have gone live, so I thought I would share them here now.
The first one I decided to be inspired by this months Inspiration Board.
And who wouldn't be inspired by this? I decided to use the sketch rather than the colours.
I am loving using the new Pink Fresh Studio goodies that have come into the store, and for all the details of this page head over to the blog here. Oh and B T Dubs you can still enter this months inspiration board challenge if you hurry!
My other page was inspired by Lynn's sketch for our current cyber crop.
We have changed our rules for the cyber crop too, you now have an entire month to create and upload your entries, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action. Make sure you have joined up with the Scrap Suite Facebook group (link on side bar of D-lish Scraps blog) and see the wonderful inspiration we have on-line. The rest of the details for this page can be found here.
Thanks for stopping by and maybe I will see your work over at the Scrap Suite soon!

Show Us Your Stuff - February
So, I have squeezed in another challenge this month. I decided to go with Show Us Your Stuff, mainly because I have lots of gorgeous handmade goodies from Charm's Creations and flair from D-lish Scraps.
This month is a countdown challenge:
At first I thought it would be tricky, especially the five circles, but then I started and I ended up with more than five different kinds of circles! I was also a little stumped at first over my design due to the long narrow photos that I decided to use, but it all came together in the end. So here it is:
So my circles are - Pink Fresh Studio printed wood veneer, D-lish Scraps Flair, Freckled Fawn puffy sticker, Enamel Dot, Label, and painted dots on my background. I did these painted dots with gesso and the end of a paintbrush. You may notice some smudging, that's me forgetting it is still wet and trying to finish putting the page together! Oops...
There are four patterned papers - Navy spotty, Grey spotty, Green and Ledger.
Three photos
Two different alphas - I was thrilled to find I had a matching green thickers in my stash!
One handmade item - Charm's Creations mini arrow.
Aren't these mini arrows from Charm's Creations cute?! Love how this one works so well with the page, the purple is picked up from my daughters clothes (both of them!) and the orange of the backdrop in the photo also.
Love Pink Fresh Studio embellishments! You can find lots of these at D-lish Scraps.
Love using my Motex (also found at D-lish Scraps), and I have a tape colour for just about every situation!
Well, that's my page, thanks for stopping by.

D-lish Scraps Cyber Cropping
Hey there, how you all going this fine Monday morning? I am popping in to share a page that I created for the D-lish Scraps blog that used a great technique from one of our fellow team.
The lovely Kerry challenged us in the February cyber crop to create a tie dye background for our page using 3 different colours. Well I had a go, and it was fun, not sure I nailed the technique, but who cares, right?!
Good news too, we have changed the rules for our cyber crops, you now have until the next cyber crop to get your challenge entries done. So that gives you a whole month to work on them! If you aren't a member of the Scrap Suite go to the blog here and click on the link to join in the side bar.
So here is what I created (be warned, it is bright!):
If you want to see more details about the page head over to the full blog post here.
Catch you later,

Another Month done
Yay me! Another month completed for my PL catch up and I even joined in with Life Zesters February challenge!
Their challenge was to use wood, either veneer embellishments or wood patterns on your cards/papers. So I did a little of both.
On the left hand page I used plenty of wood veneer and also a couple of cards which had either wood or woodgrain backgrounds. I added a sprinkling of wood veneer on my right hand page too.
It is nice to have another month done and dusted. Only 6 more for 2014 to go and then to start on 2015!!!
Thanks for stopping by.

Slowly Catching up...
... on my Project Life that is! I have printed out photos up to September, and have finished laying out and journaling (etc) up until May. So getting there. Hopefully I can get a few more months done during this month.
So I thought I would share my May 2014 spread.
Lots of stamping, my favourite thing to do on my PL pages, throw in some washi, wood veneer, enamel dots and cork and you just about have it!
Thanks for dropping by.

February at Scrap the Boys
Another challenge up at Scrap the Boys and this is such a great one! I had been waiting for just the right opportunity on how to scrap this particular story about Liam and when I saw this challenge knew it was perfect. So what is the challenge I hear you ask, well this is:
I imagine you can all think of funny things that come out of the mouths of your boys/men, and that is what makes this such a great challenge.
So this is my page:
The first thing you need to understand is that we are big Dr Who fans. The main picture was of a statue I came across in a winery in the Stanthorpe region and the first thing I thought of when I saw it was the Weeping Angels on Dr Who. Which worked in perfectly with the story.
The full story: Liam was wandering around the house and Erin was following him, but stopping still every time Liam turned around (which is kind of what the Weeping Angels do, but in a much scarier way). Eventually Liam had enough and shouted at her " Erin will you stop, you are not a Weeping Angel". This mad me laugh, mainly because it was an "only in this household" kind of moment and so many just wouldn't get it!
So I ended up finding some images on-line that I printed and punched to act as my accents on the page, the tardis and a couple of weeping angels.
And I also used some brushed pewter distress stain spray from Tim Holtz. Wow, this stuff is great! I have some in antiqued bronze that I can't wait to use too!
So check out the other great pages from the team here, and have a think about the things your boys/men say.
And we must not forget a shout out to our sponsors too. This month they are:
Flutterby Designs
A prize pack worth $15 from Flutterby Designs would be awesome!
Faber Castell
These guys are donating two small packs of gelatos!
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see your work in the gallery soon.

February White With One
A new month and a new colour! This month is one of my favourite colours - Celosia Orange
I just love orange, so happy and bright! We also got to play with some awesome Tinby Metallic Melts which were so much fun. They are one of the sponsors this month too, so make sure you check them out.
Our other sponsors this month are:
Imaginarium Designs
Scrappy Chat Designs
Funky Flairs Studio
Charms Creations
So after all that, here is my page:
I used the Tinby Melts in three ways, I used them on my chipboard stars (these happen to be Imaginarium Designs chipboard too!), I mixed it in with the texture paste that is on the background design (I also melted it within the paste) and I used it around the edges of my striped paper a bit like inking to add some texture. So there you go, see how versatile the Tinby Melts are!!!
Make sure you go and check out what the rest of the team did here, and then maybe have a go yourself.

Pipped at the Post
I had meant to get this challenge done and up before we finished January, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. But that doesn't stop me sharing it!
I decided to have a go at another sketch, this one was up over at Show Us Your Stuff, which is a blog centered around handmade embellishments and goodies, whether your own or bought from some little on-line or Etsy store.
Now given I have a good stash of Charm's Creations I thought it was a great opportunity to use something from there, and Charm's was having a challenge through January also, to use a map marker on your page and note where you were. So I rolled it all into one page, cause I had just the photos that would work!
So this is the sketch, and now here is my take on the sketch:
So you can see I used the map marker as my hand made item and also for my title block. And a close up below.
Otherwise I used a few bits and bobs, mainly from D-lish Scraps because my stash is ever expanding!
So, there you have it, my almost made it in time challenge!
Thanks for stopping by,
