<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">
Good Morning! Almost the end of January, can you believe it?! Today I am
sharing my take on the inspiration board, more of a colour palette over
at <a href="http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Scrap the Girls</a>.</div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="864" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k3tx409zqg4/Wkhp2JIXA6I/AAAAAAAAClM/v9RfHlekFlAA95kQUW0f0kc-6-KAmNSVgCLcBGAs/s400/moodboard.jpg" width="360" /></div>
<br />
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
</div>
<br />
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
And here is my take (please note that my DD1 is not impressed with me using this photo!!!):</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kFhChdR4W8Y/Wmz7u7LPzZI/AAAAAAAAFl8/j1obMrd2KdUkfLAMXaYMpkMMBSpufuROgCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8576.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kFhChdR4W8Y/Wmz7u7LPzZI/AAAAAAAAFl8/j1obMrd2KdUkfLAMXaYMpkMMBSpufuROgCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8576.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used lots of gorgeous blue tones from the Cocoa Vanilla Bohemian Dream collection, and also dies cuts and stickers. For my background I mixed some Duke shimmer dust from Colour Blast with some texture paste to create the perfect blue.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-liF6B1IqlXk/Wmz7tatfQTI/AAAAAAAAFl4/cv1yP68LbVEfKyHy3T284zMwfkHLWqVZQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8586.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-liF6B1IqlXk/Wmz7tatfQTI/AAAAAAAAFl4/cv1yP68LbVEfKyHy3T284zMwfkHLWqVZQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8586.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Also layered in there are some Charms Creations DIY Banners, which I cut up!!! Yes, I cut them in half and used them in two different places!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BjI-AVg0c-k/Wmz7tO4DetI/AAAAAAAAFl0/TLEUWhfAte0PDYnvjFKNHfI-GcLfhxVoACLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8587.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BjI-AVg0c-k/Wmz7tO4DetI/AAAAAAAAFl0/TLEUWhfAte0PDYnvjFKNHfI-GcLfhxVoACLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8587.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the top half, just like a little tab! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vD74Syox0iw/Wmz7vJwsR0I/AAAAAAAAFmA/7vXD8cXzOeEMG5zVpCuHA2fAdr9UDH7xwCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8588.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vD74Syox0iw/Wmz7vJwsR0I/AAAAAAAAFmA/7vXD8cXzOeEMG5zVpCuHA2fAdr9UDH7xwCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8588.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And the other one, layered with other bits and pieces.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thanks for stopping by,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Many challenges are moving to Facebook now, making the blog less and less necessary, so I can see it is only a matter of time before it won't be used...<br />
<br />
But until then I will still pop in with the odd post! Today I am sharing the January challenge for <a href="http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Scrap the Boys</a> which is to use flowers on a boy page. Easy!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="748" data-original-width="748" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GEiOzYCYep4/WjKV7DyT5hI/AAAAAAAADos/sV-cSKtbIwsG-D_WVin122vaEFbYIhn9QCLcBGAs/s400/IMG_8432.JPG" width="400" /> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And this is my take:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AR7cPMVtTko/WlgrohU1GAI/AAAAAAAAFkE/FeDjRz2NkLs-syuBtFpt8gdFy2WljtK6gCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8567.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AR7cPMVtTko/WlgrohU1GAI/AAAAAAAAFkE/FeDjRz2NkLs-syuBtFpt8gdFy2WljtK6gCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8567.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I had this great Boys Fort collection from Pink Fresh Studio that I had yet to use, so using that was my first challenge (for myself!). I had this great picture of my two boys and decided that some flowers cut from the patterned papers would be a good way to go. I used a free cut file from Paper Issues and cut some hibiscus flowers and leaves in a couple of different papers and sizes, then I was half way there. I used some distress oxide ink in antique linen with a triangle stencil to break up the white just a bit too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uWQHrYd4BBY/WlgroBDK1GI/AAAAAAAAFkA/Nqd-Sb_YF3oQkpX8YNVeAcysXRykk0lnQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8568.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uWQHrYd4BBY/WlgroBDK1GI/AAAAAAAAFkA/Nqd-Sb_YF3oQkpX8YNVeAcysXRykk0lnQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8568.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I used mostly the coordinating embellishments that I had for the collection, but added a <a href="http://www.charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-denim-hessian-tan-embellishments" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> black and tan arrow (which was a perfect colour addition by the way!) layered with a few bits and pieces.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K1kro2HWA4w/Wlgrn53a-JI/AAAAAAAAFj8/aSBJR3P49n8zTDxrJGzOd92VmkzebH6CgCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A8569.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K1kro2HWA4w/Wlgrn53a-JI/AAAAAAAAFj8/aSBJR3P49n8zTDxrJGzOd92VmkzebH6CgCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A8569.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Another little cluster with a wood epoxy, word sticker and some tags. I used some brown paper twine in the tags and secured them with my tiny attacher (one of my favourite tools!).<br />
<br />
Well, that is all from me for now, thanks for stopping by and catch you later.<br />

I chose to scrap my boy, here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jVbsOm6AGF4/WZPVI8BAzPI/AAAAAAAAFXk/83NKU-cgT4gCVjSll3WN0EvqaHGUGrZHQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6324.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jVbsOm6AGF4/WZPVI8BAzPI/AAAAAAAAFXk/83NKU-cgT4gCVjSll3WN0EvqaHGUGrZHQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6324.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This photo still makes me laugh! I caught the cats trying to "help" my boy eat his breadroll, yes they wanted some of his breadroll... our cats are strange! It was a bit of a challenge to scrap a photo this big, I am so used to 4x6 or smaller! But I am happy with the end result. Lots of Aussie products on this page too! Colour Blast, Cocoa Vanilla, Charms Creations, Rainbow Splendour, Burdy's Embellies and Flutterby Designs! Phew! What a line up!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HHnP953t8Gc/WZPVI1TECmI/AAAAAAAAFXg/10Pa6LWizQQ0kr0xwbDlJGsxCzE0IcoEACLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6326.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HHnP953t8Gc/WZPVI1TECmI/AAAAAAAAFXg/10Pa6LWizQQ0kr0xwbDlJGsxCzE0IcoEACLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6326.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Of course I had to use a cat Charms Creations heart!! I don't think there are any of these left now, but you can still get all kinds of different <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/heavenly-hearts" target="_blank">hearts</a> here. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6Pgq2uvCqqg/WZPVJYHrJfI/AAAAAAAAFXo/QW8hwIdw1Oc_g7xKohDfVUNDLu69SkvLQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6328.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6Pgq2uvCqqg/WZPVJYHrJfI/AAAAAAAAFXo/QW8hwIdw1Oc_g7xKohDfVUNDLu69SkvLQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6328.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And how cute is the cat paperclip from <a href="http://burdysembellies.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Burdy's Embellies</a>?! I love the felt chevrons from <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> too, so easy to use.<br />
<br />
So that is it for today, thanks for stopping by.<br />

August 1 challengePopping in to share my take on the first sketch on the Stuck?! blog for August. Here is the sketch:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://scontent.fybz2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/17626296_10154297910586039_9061658356152878465_n.jpg?oh=dd1d6d0d693faaa429296d201f3dc35c&oe=59EDE065" width="400" /></div>
<br />
<br />
And here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RMI3al5JtcU/WZPTV4rpVfI/AAAAAAAAFXU/Qyqk_cyrms8Vn8gZ9KJ7vAgTJWLdFgiVACLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6315.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RMI3al5JtcU/WZPTV4rpVfI/AAAAAAAAFXU/Qyqk_cyrms8Vn8gZ9KJ7vAgTJWLdFgiVACLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6315.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And since <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-denim-hessian-tan-embellishments" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> is a sponsor this month I have made sure to include a Charms heavenly heart in a newer combination of black and tan, I am loving this neutral yet striking combination.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iwmFoWwL6pg/WZPTVPDV0-I/AAAAAAAAFXM/M9X-iZS4aAAIxCL0zIRsCNNiO8oBrgtkwCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6320.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iwmFoWwL6pg/WZPTVPDV0-I/AAAAAAAAFXM/M9X-iZS4aAAIxCL0zIRsCNNiO8oBrgtkwCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6320.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love how the cork works so well with the black and tan Charms Creation. And how cute is the little heart in texture paste?!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wcx63rmA0Dg/WZPTVsoL09I/AAAAAAAAFXQ/rjHy2GR3uCQOk_LK3SM8W0HYVgkKz3JywCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A6322.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wcx63rmA0Dg/WZPTVsoL09I/AAAAAAAAFXQ/rjHy2GR3uCQOk_LK3SM8W0HYVgkKz3JywCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A6322.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used some <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> goodies on my page that worked perfectly with the photos of my niece. I adore the bunny wood veneer and epoxy!<br />
<br />
Well that's it for today, thanks for stopping by,<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I also manged to get the <a href="http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Show Us Your Stuff</a> July challenge completed this month. This one was a theme of "Back to Nature", here is the mood board that went along with the challenge:<br />
<br />
<img alt="Image may contain: text and outdoor" height="452" src="https://scontent-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18010457_1641699619188374_6428667550936418501_n.jpg?oh=664f636386bf39ae30f5aab6d3b397fc&oe=59C5BCB8" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 1px solid rgb(136, 136, 136); box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) 1px 1px 5px; padding: 5px;" width="640" /><br />
<br />
I had some photos of lichen and fungus that I had been wanting to scrap and they seemed like the perfect choice for this challenge. This is the page that I ended up with:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-e5qiZF46PR0/WXfJ_VJb72I/AAAAAAAAFUA/np5Q2_8v9Qsg7u-l3cEvvjsVbpj14shjQCEwYBhgL/s1600/_S4A4789.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-e5qiZF46PR0/WXfJ_VJb72I/AAAAAAAAFUA/np5Q2_8v9Qsg7u-l3cEvvjsVbpj14shjQCEwYBhgL/s640/_S4A4789.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved the intensity of orange and how they looked just like mini landscapes, so I tried to keep the page fairly neutral and let the orange shine. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GNi4lZEyigM/WXfJ-a1YNNI/AAAAAAAAFT4/0OEr4WoIF2AX89qmOAhAbn4wJSJNa_N2QCEwYBhgL/s1600/_S4A4790.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GNi4lZEyigM/WXfJ-a1YNNI/AAAAAAAAFT4/0OEr4WoIF2AX89qmOAhAbn4wJSJNa_N2QCEwYBhgL/s640/_S4A4790.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Lots of <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> bits and pieces on this page. Some new, some older but all fitting with the back to nature theme! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AMMIpKiY8nM/WXfJ-XxcYuI/AAAAAAAAFT8/GRdI7cHyak48I8vnuZOqk8bAsocZDaitwCEwYBhgL/s1600/_S4A4791.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AMMIpKiY8nM/WXfJ-XxcYuI/AAAAAAAAFT8/GRdI7cHyak48I8vnuZOqk8bAsocZDaitwCEwYBhgL/s640/_S4A4791.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Love the wood veneer that Chloe adds to her kits (courtesy of Corbett Creations!).<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />

July 1 sketchWell, July is quickly disappearing so I thought I had better get this page loaded before the month completely disappears! This page I created for <a href="http://stucksketches.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Stuck?! Sketches</a> first sketch of the month, which looks like this:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://scontent.fybz2-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/17629617_10154297893221039_4550633893680552943_n.jpg?oh=2920da83a44d5cd0cfadea5135d37c18&oe=59DE4713" width="400" /></div>
<br />
Charms Creations is one of the sponsors for this sketch, so I thought I should definitely add some to my page! This is what I came up with:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BJE0gW1R79w/WXfIPWwMzOI/AAAAAAAAFTs/nqxex13l4GUVus_OskAxAK7ZSK5NIfhYQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4759-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BJE0gW1R79w/WXfIPWwMzOI/AAAAAAAAFTs/nqxex13l4GUVus_OskAxAK7ZSK5NIfhYQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4759-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I am loving yellow at the moment, such a bright happy colour and also appropriate for this page about Hufflepuff! I found a "Harry Potter" type free font on-line and cut my title, and also found a Hufflepuff crest that I did a print and cut on to finish it off. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q2b78wJ8g0g/WXfIOXZ9iZI/AAAAAAAAFTk/UR69Z2M57yI2XJvMXQuGCGw_VjzXAFDFwCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4760-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q2b78wJ8g0g/WXfIOXZ9iZI/AAAAAAAAFTk/UR69Z2M57yI2XJvMXQuGCGw_VjzXAFDFwCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4760-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
These pastel yellow "X's and O's" from <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-mixed-pastel-xo-s" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> were the perfect add for this page.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gltt6HrOZxo/WXfIO8hv0vI/AAAAAAAAFTo/uUHPwdROzzwGXV83XW3ukCB94BYxO7RuQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4762-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gltt6HrOZxo/WXfIO8hv0vI/AAAAAAAAFTo/uUHPwdROzzwGXV83XW3ukCB94BYxO7RuQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4762-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Besides lots of yellow, a touch of pink, black and craft helped round out this page.<br />
<br />

Yay me! This month is an awesome sketch:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="599" data-original-width="599" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2imHxgi7StQ/WVgfsI-n_MI/AAAAAAAAE5g/fe1pNFMtaXsi39a0O4xCRqtmUmZOc0EHACLcBGAs/s320/2017%2Bsketch%2B1%2Bfor%2Bscrap%2Bthe%2Bboys%2Blwd%2B%2528600x600%2529.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<br />
<br />
And here is my take on the sketch:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LGXhherC9yI/WW_lfjy5pqI/AAAAAAAAFTI/3MVGU_jacQ08yvCRCcAZzWnIotKLmiz8gCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4766.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LGXhherC9yI/WW_lfjy5pqI/AAAAAAAAFTI/3MVGU_jacQ08yvCRCcAZzWnIotKLmiz8gCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4766.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used lots of <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> bits from one of their most recent kits as well as some <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a>. I also challenged myself to use only some papers from a 6x6 paper pad, this was an old Shimelle line, Starshine, the sketch was perfect for using these sized papers!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-04MIilBsR7E/WW_ldhVVMYI/AAAAAAAAFTA/-pxR5Di86rsLmn09NceqS8GVXYxtX1FZgCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4767.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-04MIilBsR7E/WW_ldhVVMYI/AAAAAAAAFTA/-pxR5Di86rsLmn09NceqS8GVXYxtX1FZgCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4767.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
A close up of the cluster with some Rainbow Splendour bits.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kIYFGCC_G78/WW_leorFKXI/AAAAAAAAFTE/qeMS45U72o4rdk6mNTSqyiN2yHbmsU5kQCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4768.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kIYFGCC_G78/WW_leorFKXI/AAAAAAAAFTE/qeMS45U72o4rdk6mNTSqyiN2yHbmsU5kQCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4768.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And the other cluster, using some tabs and a flag to make a banner, finished off with some more RS goodies!<br />
<br />
It was great to finally get these photos of my boy scrapped too! Thanks for stopping by,<br />

This month is an interesting challenge to use roses three ways.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="952" data-original-width="775" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gjJtfy0YxyY/WVYfyylbkdI/AAAAAAAAFxM/Mc-TPSWKh8A3Qco5J3R5wGUtIwA6C7HFgCLcBGAs/s640/17629737_10209032345509425_2369842253095603154_n.jpg" width="520" /></div>
<br />
And here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XuNh1EQ_4Z4/WV3BDAf7AeI/AAAAAAAAFRg/nVB7cdfhBDUvFi67hpqXa99P_dekSUWugCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4657.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1100" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XuNh1EQ_4Z4/WV3BDAf7AeI/AAAAAAAAFRg/nVB7cdfhBDUvFi67hpqXa99P_dekSUWugCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4657.jpg" width="580" /></a></div>
So can you pick my roses three ways? I firstly used a rose stencil on the background with distress oxide ink, I just love the soft, chalky result of this ink. Second, I stamped roses on paper and coloured them with Colourblast shimmer cubes and then cut them out, and then lastly I turned a Charms Creations "O" into a rose with another stencil and Colourblast texture paste. I really love how the big rose turned out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IyNT8pdqTRE/WV3BCRgVSrI/AAAAAAAAFRc/nZrhSoH2GfotvXs9KI3YrynxcVH85HnnwCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4660.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="767" data-original-width="1000" height="490" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IyNT8pdqTRE/WV3BCRgVSrI/AAAAAAAAFRc/nZrhSoH2GfotvXs9KI3YrynxcVH85HnnwCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4660.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Here is a close up of the Charms Creations rose, you can find "O's" in the shop <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/xo-s" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o0UEi1hdlMQ/WV3BBZCbtuI/AAAAAAAAFRY/XWVYHUV1RY06C8dTohMo_qvHh1XiMdH5wCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4661.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="767" data-original-width="1000" height="490" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o0UEi1hdlMQ/WV3BBZCbtuI/AAAAAAAAFRY/XWVYHUV1RY06C8dTohMo_qvHh1XiMdH5wCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4661.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
And here is a close up of the stamped and coloured roses.<br />
<br />
Charms Creations is a sponsor this month, so make sure you have a go so you have a chance to win some goodies for yourself!<br />
<br />

Life certainly has been cramping my crafting time and style lately! But back to share a last minute page for the June <a href="http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Kraft Plus</a> challenge, which was to use Kraft plus one other colour (black and white ok). I chose to use yellow, one of my favourite colours at the moment, bright and happy!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="952" data-original-width="775" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uPMmEY4_pn4/WStdQXt6N7I/AAAAAAAAFsQ/h_aUcmt-cmcbEnHx9nPRdPoLsUIWQDe5wCLcB/s400/18157614_10209282179035107_3947973598579596234_n.jpg" width="325" /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CfoaVqaS0LI/WVWkK1Bt39I/AAAAAAAAFPs/pbcwzdZKzKgh1vrdsd0pCuI5SdnhV679gCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4652.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CfoaVqaS0LI/WVWkK1Bt39I/AAAAAAAAFPs/pbcwzdZKzKgh1vrdsd0pCuI5SdnhV679gCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4652.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And some close ups...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hQoVbR-bkxA/WVWksXaQQ6I/AAAAAAAAFPw/NQcq1R1ePf0qyRvBHnI0qQsSy1Zkd1ZUgCLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4655.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hQoVbR-bkxA/WVWksXaQQ6I/AAAAAAAAFPw/NQcq1R1ePf0qyRvBHnI0qQsSy1Zkd1ZUgCLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4655.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aD5seY4rUf8/WVWktGZxZmI/AAAAAAAAFP0/rIr63pL9LlwOKaS86WyRX_CAFuAV9Np1ACLcBGAs/s1600/_S4A4656.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aD5seY4rUf8/WVWktGZxZmI/AAAAAAAAFP0/rIr63pL9LlwOKaS86WyRX_CAFuAV9Np1ACLcBGAs/s640/_S4A4656.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Lots of D-lish Scraps goodies and of course a Charms Creations, and my new favourite "toy" distress oxide ink on my background. Must say, I held off on the distress oxide inks, but now I am addicted and have just put in an order for the 12 new colours!<br />
<br />

I did manage a couple of pages over Easter (made sure I had some down time!), but hadn't got to blogging anything. Popping in for a quick share of the page that I created for the Show Us Your Stuff recipe challenge.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Image may contain: 1 person, text" height="640" src="https://scontent-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/16864049_1568903443134659_8132401647246338249_n.jpg?oh=eb4009625ee6b247b257f0de100a4985&oe=5955A12D" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 1px solid rgb(136, 136, 136); box-shadow: 1px 1px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.098); padding: 5px;" width="454" /></div>
<br />
<br />
And the page that I created:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JOgCVfrfpeY/WQUmWAhg-tI/AAAAAAAAFHk/h6PI5g01Bcc4DhLMbCJe92y4KjnXYzkSgCLcB/s1600/_S4A2976.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JOgCVfrfpeY/WQUmWAhg-tI/AAAAAAAAFHk/h6PI5g01Bcc4DhLMbCJe92y4KjnXYzkSgCLcB/s640/_S4A2976.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Bright and colourful! I love how the yellow background brings the pops of yellow in my nieces shirt out. Lots of handmade goodies on this page too. RS flag, pretty pin and wood veneer (courtesy Corbet Creations), pink banners from Charms Creations and flair from D-lish Scraps.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />

I have Kraft+ and Show Us Your Stuff challenges for March completed and I thought I probably should blog them and submit them before it was too late!<br />
<br />
The <a href="http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Kraft+</a> challenge was a denim revolution and many of the creative team and others were hacking into denim clothes for the challenge, me, well I decided to print myself some denim, so no clothes were harmed in the making of my page!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tCrPtG0UTps/WK_FClNxcsI/AAAAAAAAFY8/sDENg_FLZWkT7UVLgNAAh_1FLp20_5SzQCLcB/s640/denim%2Brevolution.jpg" width="520" /> </div>
<br />
I also have gone with the new motto of keeping my pages relatively simple, so I can actually get pages done in the small amounts of spare time that I have. So here is my denim revolution page:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VO84mmO3glY/WN2EcLVKRPI/AAAAAAAAFEs/izS5yumNDhQ5BUnvMQipydTW0QCx7zg7ACLcB/s1600/_S4A2405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VO84mmO3glY/WN2EcLVKRPI/AAAAAAAAFEs/izS5yumNDhQ5BUnvMQipydTW0QCx7zg7ACLcB/s640/_S4A2405.jpg" width="580" /></a></div>
<br />
So a simple page, with a printed denim pocket and some printed denim paper as a photo mat and also used to punch some butterflies from. I used some of the very pretty new Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart collection too, loving this one. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6mi57dAsams/WN2EbqwQOlI/AAAAAAAAFEo/diWdm-_HYh8EzzLuYHnwCIizOhsit1FHQCLcB/s1600/_S4A2407.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6mi57dAsams/WN2EbqwQOlI/AAAAAAAAFEo/diWdm-_HYh8EzzLuYHnwCIizOhsit1FHQCLcB/s640/_S4A2407.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />And how appropriate is the <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-denim-white-sea-green-embellishments" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> green and light denim heart for this challenge?! Loving all the light denim Charms at the moment, there is even a denim heading at the shop now to find all things denim!<br />
<br />
So that is number one challenge, now for number two, this is <a href="http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Show Us Your Stuff</a> which was a this or that kind of challenge.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Image may contain: text" height="640" src="https://scontent-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/15966236_1512579445433726_3785845602690164210_n.jpg?oh=9d2402e145c75c9c178a409454d28f61&oe=59333BF8" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 1px solid rgb(136, 136, 136); box-shadow: 1px 1px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.098); padding: 5px;" width="372" /></div>
<br />
I went with - Stars, sequins, washi and spots, and my handmade items came from <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> and <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/denim" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> (yes denim again!). Here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rjaiJIANIOU/WN2GFO6XPbI/AAAAAAAAFE4/PwnRTDHZMyYql75btujaUcp-i50vL5iEwCLcB/s1600/_S4A2609.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rjaiJIANIOU/WN2GFO6XPbI/AAAAAAAAFE4/PwnRTDHZMyYql75btujaUcp-i50vL5iEwCLcB/s640/_S4A2609.jpg" width="580" /></a></div>
Stars on my washi tape and with texture past on the background and one big denim star! Spots on my bow and also on the star and sequins sprinkled around. All requirements ticked off!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ify_yhnwPls/WN2GFvLat_I/AAAAAAAAFE8/ORzQorA2nLYsaUEb1cypavpLbxA8EcspACLcB/s1600/_S4A2614.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="490" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ify_yhnwPls/WN2GFvLat_I/AAAAAAAAFE8/ORzQorA2nLYsaUEb1cypavpLbxA8EcspACLcB/s640/_S4A2614.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Can you see the spots hiding in the denim star? It teams so well with the bow from Rainbow Splendour.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YLcpdcw8uJI/WN2GGaBqPGI/AAAAAAAAFFA/Gelpps87eRcl8pORiinVzxCFASuEfpxgACLcB/s1600/_S4A2616.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="490" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YLcpdcw8uJI/WN2GGaBqPGI/AAAAAAAAFFA/Gelpps87eRcl8pORiinVzxCFASuEfpxgACLcB/s640/_S4A2616.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And I love these chevron circles from Rainbow Splendour, the red was a perfect add for a pop of colour on this page about Lego.<br />
<br />
So, that is it from my quick update. Thanks for stopping by,<br />

Today I am sharing my take on the <a href="http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Scrap the Boys</a> challenge, which is to scrap your boys/men and something new.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LL8UCAQE-MA/WJFILPRyS-I/AAAAAAAAEgA/mgzgFj1vfSst5l_3gVBQZNc1Wb2IEYr9ACLcB/s1600/15350605_10154127797511188_4366854547332327700_n.jpg" /> </div>
<br />
I decided to scrap my boy and his first day of high school - a new school and a new phase in his life too. I also decided to use my new Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart collection, challenging myself to use it for a boy page, and it was no trouble at all! Here is what I created:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F9tcXqLlnmw/WK4bSZWbf1I/AAAAAAAAFCY/kEPSMK-xUpssck8mOPrbtwc_X3iyKECngCLcB/s1600/_S4A2063.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F9tcXqLlnmw/WK4bSZWbf1I/AAAAAAAAFCY/kEPSMK-xUpssck8mOPrbtwc_X3iyKECngCLcB/s640/_S4A2063.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
There were lots of lovely blue tones in this paper collection and they worked perfectly with my photo and Liam's blue shirt. I love the watercolour paper, it is just divine, I am starting to think I may end up needing more of this collection!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2iWQn9EPPDo/WK4bSH55RQI/AAAAAAAAFCU/tkHYCZRA6cAyecWSUcwIuaw72ULgNoK1wCLcB/s1600/_S4A2066.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2iWQn9EPPDo/WK4bSH55RQI/AAAAAAAAFCU/tkHYCZRA6cAyecWSUcwIuaw72ULgNoK1wCLcB/s640/_S4A2066.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some of the chipboard and phrase stickers from the collection also, teamed with some <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> goodies here.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mSMY-opO888/WK4bR1Yk7jI/AAAAAAAAFCQ/SOkefCtwasIth_lOHpK2qkWQsrJDRQcSwCLcB/s1600/_S4A2067.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mSMY-opO888/WK4bR1Yk7jI/AAAAAAAAFCQ/SOkefCtwasIth_lOHpK2qkWQsrJDRQcSwCLcB/s640/_S4A2067.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
And my new favourites in the <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-pale-denim-cream-pastel-hearts" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> store, light denim, in this case with blue, teamed perfectly with this page. Add in a cool arrow from Rainbow Splendour and a few other bits and we have a great embellishment cluster. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UWlEIfNvh5s/WK4bTqDiFiI/AAAAAAAAFCc/M_9gjv0l4SsrOF0LiJo0PKXS-U84ogTugCLcB/s1600/_S4A2068.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UWlEIfNvh5s/WK4bTqDiFiI/AAAAAAAAFCc/M_9gjv0l4SsrOF0LiJo0PKXS-U84ogTugCLcB/s640/_S4A2068.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
And in the spirit of trying to use up things that I have, here is an old frame from a Crate Paper collection (I think...), a great way to frame the writing on the photo.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />

They have a great sketch challenge this month so make sure you go and check it out and maybe have a go yourself.<br />
<br />
This is what the sketch looks like:<br /><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GtZbwzNtVDk/WI_7H0RWtGI/AAAAAAAACPE/pZDn82zDQickUIj7KtaULEwr3VR-vpq1ACLcB/s400/Feb%2BSketch.jpg" width="400" /> </div>
<br />
And this is what I came up with:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kLY-R8t6P6o/WKjYA18j5zI/AAAAAAAAFBw/cMCyKIjbKWgaJzxT17P-40RRYIfN9F2ogCLcB/s1600/_S4A2029.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kLY-R8t6P6o/WKjYA18j5zI/AAAAAAAAFBw/cMCyKIjbKWgaJzxT17P-40RRYIfN9F2ogCLcB/s640/_S4A2029.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some of the goodies from the newly released Sweet Day kit from Rainbow Splendour. The new release only happened a few days ago so there might still be some bits and bobs left so make sure you check them out <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">here</a>. I think the gold glitter bow is my favourite!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KniGvE9MBa4/WKjYBB2VhcI/AAAAAAAAFB0/zpuNYrmGTPcVLWqZg01MkcjCq1R1_iI1wCLcB/s1600/_S4A2033.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KniGvE9MBa4/WKjYBB2VhcI/AAAAAAAAFB0/zpuNYrmGTPcVLWqZg01MkcjCq1R1_iI1wCLcB/s640/_S4A2033.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Check out the cool foiled epoxy! And the wood veneer triangles (from a previous RS kit) I foiled in rose gold for some extra sparkle. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xA-tSiSgFpw/WKjYBVHXUSI/AAAAAAAAFB4/sIvhQlzualcB1tTHMmQwuArgWOL0dr4RACLcB/s1600/_S4A2035.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xA-tSiSgFpw/WKjYBVHXUSI/AAAAAAAAFB4/sIvhQlzualcB1tTHMmQwuArgWOL0dr4RACLcB/s640/_S4A2035.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
How cool is the cat Charms Creation heart! There are still a few cat Charms <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/cute-cats-set-of-3" target="_blank">here</a> if you "need" one for your your fur baby.<br />
<br />
So, that is my take on the sketch, make sure you have a go, you still have plenty of time!<br />
<br />

Only another week and a half and I will be back hitting the books. Four more subjects then my return to Uni will be complete, well for now, who knows down the track?!<br />
<br />
But for now, I am here to share a page that I created for the current <a href="http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Kraft+ challenge</a>, which is a colour scheme and a great sketch:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CiVkh3ZskE8/WIRCPbOAKdI/AAAAAAAAFSU/HH6LLlqk4goCAgB_gi-d1d4QJXmypqIbgCLcB/s400/coastal%2Bchic%2Bsketch.jpg" width="365" /> </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
Such a pretty colour scheme and the perfect match for some new Charms Creations light denim embellies that had just arrived in the mail. So this is my take on the sketch:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Lb_Dfntgikk/WKPJnMhcbbI/AAAAAAAAFBM/WZZyQEjMTi0GFLoYoC002I1Vi6T-U0aOQCLcB/s1600/_S4A2024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Lb_Dfntgikk/WKPJnMhcbbI/AAAAAAAAFBM/WZZyQEjMTi0GFLoYoC002I1Vi6T-U0aOQCLcB/s640/_S4A2024.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also used the gorgeous cut files from Cocoa Vanilla, I am hoping that Zoe will make some more to go with other collections soon!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6yMOSna0AZw/WKPJjiiNcuI/AAAAAAAAFBI/ocq-cCD8csM_VPbmYlnSndcjemTdu8GfgCLcB/s1600/_S4A2026.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6yMOSna0AZw/WKPJjiiNcuI/AAAAAAAAFBI/ocq-cCD8csM_VPbmYlnSndcjemTdu8GfgCLcB/s640/_S4A2026.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Don't you love the light denim?! You can find them in the shop <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-pale-denim-cream-baby-blue-mixed-embellishments" target="_blank">here</a>, there are other colours too, pretty pastels. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YiQ4Y8O6gKo/WKPJnGrVwGI/AAAAAAAAFBQ/Y0jlPuMaYiQuPftmtSRT_zsSAWNk22MSgCLcB/s1600/_S4A2027.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YiQ4Y8O6gKo/WKPJnGrVwGI/AAAAAAAAFBQ/Y0jlPuMaYiQuPftmtSRT_zsSAWNk22MSgCLcB/s640/_S4A2027.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Pulled out some pretty wire that I had sitting in my drawer, trying to use up the things that I have!<br />
<br />
Well, that is it for now, until next time...<br />

Hopefully not so busy for you so that you have time to complete the Scrapbooking Top 50 challenge this month. This month is a great sketch:<br />
<br />
<img border="0" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oEhBZeosxRA/WH9ntxYWTJI/AAAAAAAACMs/muY5lhl6dXw5sMNHb7EGsujClAVKx3LLACLcB/s640/Feb%2BSketch.jpg" width="640" /><br />
<br />
Charms Creations is a sponsor this month too, so a good opportunity to maybe win yourself some goodies to play with!<br />
<br />
Here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-taFedyplZlY/WJkKjdfJC-I/AAAAAAAAFAw/rObEress8cgkc4Ns8wPMEAhFbnqfJ0EkwCLcB/s1600/_S4A1948.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-taFedyplZlY/WJkKjdfJC-I/AAAAAAAAFAw/rObEress8cgkc4Ns8wPMEAhFbnqfJ0EkwCLcB/s640/_S4A1948.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
When I picked out this photo, I just knew that I had to add some touches of purple to my page. I used some of the Colour Blast shimmer dust in velvet to create my water colour background and I also used it to colour my <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/sale-on-tabs-terrific-tabs" target="_blank">terrific tab</a> from Charms Creations. The great thing about DIY or white Charms is you can make them whatever colour you need them to be, a great staple in any collection!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-11ad1qzAFCg/WJkKiXZR_6I/AAAAAAAAFAs/MbaOtd3GZ3oz9AIqoPSAtFTy5NYRmSQwgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1959.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-11ad1qzAFCg/WJkKiXZR_6I/AAAAAAAAFAs/MbaOtd3GZ3oz9AIqoPSAtFTy5NYRmSQwgCLcB/s640/_S4A1959.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also had a <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-teal-white-mixed-embellishments" target="_blank">purple arrow</a> that I had to use and I layered it with a flair from D-lish Scraps and some bits from <a href="http://burdysembellies.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Burdy's Embellies</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pZthEoKHwKE/WJkKhYvTUUI/AAAAAAAAFAo/Fw2JpUcdNjoKj912i2MOXNY5Bo26W6XDgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1960.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pZthEoKHwKE/WJkKhYvTUUI/AAAAAAAAFAo/Fw2JpUcdNjoKj912i2MOXNY5Bo26W6XDgCLcB/s640/_S4A1960.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the coloured tab along with a wood veneer from <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> and the insides of the arrow in the bottom cluster.<br />
<br />
So, now you have seen my take on the sketch, it is time for you to have a go too!<br />
<br />

It was a great quote to inspire:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s3ZfpFvTHUI/WFYvmzrkd5I/AAAAAAAACHY/d27NTcXjq48_ood3_V1VotPAiPLU09UtQCLcB/s640/1.%2BJanuary%2BQuote.jpg" style="border: none; position: relative;" width="496" /></div>
<br />
And you could be inspired by the colours and patterns in the image too, which I was! Love any opportunity to add a bit of gold to the mix! So this is the page that I created inspired by the image and quote:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ghu0mUJMXmE/WI_hLmmPWPI/AAAAAAAAFAU/dgA8CYiAUJczCgd7AANE1-v7XOcb-DZhwCLcB/s1600/_S4A1927.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ghu0mUJMXmE/WI_hLmmPWPI/AAAAAAAAFAU/dgA8CYiAUJczCgd7AANE1-v7XOcb-DZhwCLcB/s640/_S4A1927.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I used part of the quote as my title and the colours of mint, blue and gold, lots of gold! Can you spy some of the <a href="http://burdysembellies.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Burdy's Embellies</a> on my page too? I used a rainbow splendour stencil with some gold texture paste and I loved how it came out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yphW2m7iUOE/WI_hLG9DsGI/AAAAAAAAFAM/VcmZpkvwnyklj7aluzqiqZi6Em9fcuy2gCLcB/s1600/_S4A1937.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yphW2m7iUOE/WI_hLG9DsGI/AAAAAAAAFAM/VcmZpkvwnyklj7aluzqiqZi6Em9fcuy2gCLcB/s640/_S4A1937.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
There is a gold and black hexagon layered with a DIY banner from <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/mixed-diy-set-of-6" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a>. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u2bHVUZ-wNc/WI_hLhXm_pI/AAAAAAAAFAQ/aV-AQFABx4Ia-fkIMXVYb6rOP-GyTrfZgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1938.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u2bHVUZ-wNc/WI_hLhXm_pI/AAAAAAAAFAQ/aV-AQFABx4Ia-fkIMXVYb6rOP-GyTrfZgCLcB/s640/_S4A1938.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And check out the sweet gold spotty button near my title, perfect little finishing touch!<br />
<br />
So hurry if you haven't done yours yet, you still have a little bit of time!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />

We are on countdown for back to school and TAFE here. Plenty of running around being done as all those little back to school jobs get done.<br />
<br />
But the upside to the heat and humidity is the days being locked inside in the air-con! Good scrapping days! Today I am sharing a page created for the <a href="http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Scrap the Girls</a> January challenge which <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> is sponsoring. Here is the challenge:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3kSZJ2S7MPw/WGNtvFI6PSI/AAAAAAAABhI/t0gvowXJ9vMhkX-xFXnP-jij_LxClwTtwCLcB/s400/January%2B2017.jpg" width="400" /> </div>
<br />
At first when I looked at this challenge my mind went blank, then I thought of some great doily stamps that I have (inspired by the henna tattoos) and then it was time to dig through the patterned papers and see what colours that I had to work in with the colour palette.<br />
<br />
So this is what I came up with:<br />

<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QtzyCVxZL_o/WIBPNy5Z5II/AAAAAAAAE_w/L6K1oLpinXo8nbH4LYRgAL7q3J9U-mskwCLcB/s1600/_S4A1950.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QtzyCVxZL_o/WIBPNy5Z5II/AAAAAAAAE_w/L6K1oLpinXo8nbH4LYRgAL7q3J9U-mskwCLcB/s640/_S4A1950.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Turned out I had a few bits and pieces that worked with the colours, and of course you can never go past some ink or mists to help add colour. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9AQxTezIRGI/WIBPNCj7M5I/AAAAAAAAE_o/Mg6bM77-8R8CgAvwC0b4sJfgaPlvLspvgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1952.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9AQxTezIRGI/WIBPNCj7M5I/AAAAAAAAE_o/Mg6bM77-8R8CgAvwC0b4sJfgaPlvLspvgCLcB/s640/_S4A1952.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used this gorgeous printed wood veneer from RS, along with the wood veneer word. Balancing it out is the banners from <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/products?page=1" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> in music paper, very versatile! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nN0HpYNLgfI/WIBPNLHKKnI/AAAAAAAAE_s/sf7hVv1UD38hGn-4TsJwoTgyiG4pjgRAACLcB/s1600/_S4A1953.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nN0HpYNLgfI/WIBPNLHKKnI/AAAAAAAAE_s/sf7hVv1UD38hGn-4TsJwoTgyiG4pjgRAACLcB/s640/_S4A1953.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This little cluster includes a pretty pin and epoxy from RS. Can you see the doily stamps peeping out? I used some distress inks for stamping these, faded jeans and seedless preserves, just about a perfect match don't you think?<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a go at the challenge, you might even score yourself some great Rainbow Splendour goodies too!<br />

Popping in today to share a page that I created for the current <a href="http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Show Us Your Stuff</a> challenge. This month is a great bright summery inspiration board, and it was the colours that grabbed my attention and what shaped my page. Here is the board:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qqNPopB26KA/WGb2hZIfddI/AAAAAAAACHo/SKpSFsaRMyg7zATD2Bzne3hXMKycSUvfwCLcB/s640/Moodbaord.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<br />
And here is my take on the board:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-McvZS7U-dpo/WHVs_PQGvqI/AAAAAAAAE_M/iC6-E8CIxmodsAPOyhELRb688GKac7CaQCLcB/s1600/_S4A1966.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-McvZS7U-dpo/WHVs_PQGvqI/AAAAAAAAE_M/iC6-E8CIxmodsAPOyhELRb688GKac7CaQCLcB/s640/_S4A1966.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved the rainbow coloured boards in the picture and used that as my starting point creating a colourful fringed background. I also documented a summer story about how summer means cricket in our house (well for me at least!).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-owdm45C7biM/WHVs9hK2b-I/AAAAAAAAE_E/bls3sgJ0ySYU0QcKYheT798QryaAKJtMQCLcB/s1600/_S4A1968.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-owdm45C7biM/WHVs9hK2b-I/AAAAAAAAE_E/bls3sgJ0ySYU0QcKYheT798QryaAKJtMQCLcB/s640/_S4A1968.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used a <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/terrific-tabs" target="_blank">Charms Creations tab</a> in this little cluster. These tabs are great for little clusters! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DcbV9Xl4LOU/WHVs-Z6adEI/AAAAAAAAE_I/5AsdTmY7on8Ek9cxLGdp-IQa8-8I-pTkQCLcB/s1600/_S4A1969.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DcbV9Xl4LOU/WHVs-Z6adEI/AAAAAAAAE_I/5AsdTmY7on8Ek9cxLGdp-IQa8-8I-pTkQCLcB/s640/_S4A1969.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This cluster has some <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> goodies, a pretty pin, and epoxy and a wood veneer. The title is also hand made, by me! I created a script title that I fussy cut out to be part of my title. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_D3mlpjmDRU/WHVs__gtnbI/AAAAAAAAE_Q/-iLnZJ941qQX8RBf9vTcZ5vWC54hyb_-gCLcB/s1600/_S4A1971.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_D3mlpjmDRU/WHVs__gtnbI/AAAAAAAAE_Q/-iLnZJ941qQX8RBf9vTcZ5vWC54hyb_-gCLcB/s640/_S4A1971.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And the final cluster with another Charms Creations, this time an arrow, a <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/" target="_blank">D-lish Scraps</a> flair and more wood veneer from Rainbow Splendour. There is also a vellum card from RS peeking out from behind my photo and the hint of a D-lish Scraps journal spot. So much hand made goodness on one page! Can you tell where I get most of my embellies from?!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />

Today I am popping in to share a page I created for the current <a href="http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Kraft+</a> challenge as a team member for the sponsor <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/products" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a>. This month is an interesting challenge of "On your bike" and here is the graphic inspirations:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zQ_wVUfa4yA/WGeCk6pdZXI/AAAAAAAAFMg/V27k8a4qv30gZNVKOF2z-o_LGIwUUQvFACLcB/s640/14291859_10207431188681505_8005739648262919324_n.jpg" width="520" /></div>
<br />
I wasn't quite sure how to go about this one, but looking through my printed photos I found the perfect set of photos and I even had a few bicycle themed bits and bobs in my stash courtesy of <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a>! Here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tSf_lMFyzLw/WHLXHgw7jEI/AAAAAAAAE-0/Z-ljRDCezBYC1WnpiAGptm4gLjclvUl4gCLcB/s1600/KraftPlusJan2017.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tSf_lMFyzLw/WHLXHgw7jEI/AAAAAAAAE-0/Z-ljRDCezBYC1WnpiAGptm4gLjclvUl4gCLcB/s640/KraftPlusJan2017.jpg" width="580" /></a></div>
<br />
So I have used some of the <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/cute-clouds" target="_blank">cute clouds</a> from Charms Creations for my ourdoorsy page of my brother and his kids getting out on their bikes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uUl29ZsH4r0/WHLXHIOr6ZI/AAAAAAAAE-s/mVR177_ywQ4OjeKqDhlO6KtFqESIf3UpgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1942.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uUl29ZsH4r0/WHLXHIOr6ZI/AAAAAAAAE-s/mVR177_ywQ4OjeKqDhlO6KtFqESIf3UpgCLcB/s640/_S4A1942.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
A close up of the clouds layered with some word strips and wood veneer stars. I also made a cloud out of a speech bubble wood veneer from Rainbow Splendour. I simply cut off the extra bit and smoothed it out. Can you spy the cute bicycle pretty pin from Rainbow Splendour in my embellishment cluster?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uzOapB5o6eY/WHLXHXaVlLI/AAAAAAAAE-w/b6s3H2Y7NicmQ7by05GYZwyv2H9s-OV6wCLcB/s1600/_S4A1943.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uzOapB5o6eY/WHLXHXaVlLI/AAAAAAAAE-w/b6s3H2Y7NicmQ7by05GYZwyv2H9s-OV6wCLcB/s640/_S4A1943.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The bicycle epoxy and wood veneer title also came from Rainbow Splendour. I even found a cute Project Life card with a bike that I added into my layering.<br />
<br />
Make sure to go and check out the Kraft+ blog for lots of inspiration and maybe have a go yourself, you might even win some gorgeous Charms Creations goodies for yourself!<br />
<br />

I am especially in love with the oragami wood veneer butterflies!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R9fDaN17kiY/WGW7Q9gLumI/AAAAAAAAE-U/Ui7YaUdSHIcClPdPOfeUHK8EtA4kQDu6ACLcB/s1600/_S4A1929.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-R9fDaN17kiY/WGW7Q9gLumI/AAAAAAAAE-U/Ui7YaUdSHIcClPdPOfeUHK8EtA4kQDu6ACLcB/s640/_S4A1929.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
From the kit I have used: Pretty pin (well the pretty triangle circle that was on the pin that I accidentally pulled off...don't ask...), felt bow, wood veneer butterflies, glitter die cut star and epoxy circle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lf_ME64lJI0/WGW7Qp1GUWI/AAAAAAAAE-M/dv5_dwd0xZUiRzT24HgY3o4_k_mSL-VoACLcB/s1600/_S4A1930.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lf_ME64lJI0/WGW7Qp1GUWI/AAAAAAAAE-M/dv5_dwd0xZUiRzT24HgY3o4_k_mSL-VoACLcB/s640/_S4A1930.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also added this pretty purple <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> heart. It layered beautifully with the butterfly and phrase sticker.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Iy_lsJwunKs/WGW7Qi6LFmI/AAAAAAAAE-Q/GRKemGF3mk8DEVyseMnm67eI5VZJYhhCwCLcB/s1600/_S4A1931.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Iy_lsJwunKs/WGW7Qi6LFmI/AAAAAAAAE-Q/GRKemGF3mk8DEVyseMnm67eI5VZJYhhCwCLcB/s640/_S4A1931.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
I think this epoxy is one of my all time favourites from the RS kits! I just love the yellow against the pinks and purples.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LpupHs29XQk/WGW7SVMykbI/AAAAAAAAE-Y/ZYJWuUHSQ4cHNdFFA0tpeaGBERy3zkb1ACLcB/s1600/_S4A1933.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LpupHs29XQk/WGW7SVMykbI/AAAAAAAAE-Y/ZYJWuUHSQ4cHNdFFA0tpeaGBERy3zkb1ACLcB/s640/_S4A1933.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For my background I used some minc reactive paint through a stencil and then foiled with purple and hot pink. The foil adds some texture, colour and interest to the background without any bulk!<br />
<br />That's it from me for now. Thanks for stopping by,<br />
<br />
Katie xKatiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14178998882348162142noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5420743976313520839.post-19660752711254430372016-12-30T11:29:00.000+10:002016-12-30T11:29:10.560+10:00It has been a while...So, one could say that the year kind of got away from me there! The last few months were a blur of assignments, exams, kindy photos, primary school graduation, birthdays and finally Christmas. But now, I have some time to rest and even catch up a little on what I have been doing. I didn't manage much scrapping in that time either, but I am trying to make up for that now. I think I have pulled off five pages in two days! Yay me!<br />
<br />
Today I am going to share a new page (hopefully I will get caught up on what I haven't shared later...) created for the <a href="http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Show Us Your Stuff</a> blog, which is being sponsored by Rainbow Splendour. This month is a sketch, which is perfect for the busy month of December. I even decided to do a holidays themed page, and I used the December Hip Kit for most of my bits and pieces. I have been loving their kits and decided to order a few this year as a treat for myself. I am not ready to subscribe just yet, but maybe down the track that will happen...<br />
<br />
So here is the sketch:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9VxOKeQAQs8/WFHt4u2X8QI/AAAAAAAAIE0/6RNy1DBI00onLxiqIdtaqHJWI9fzLtpHwCLcB/s400/DEC_SUYS_TOGETHER.jpg" width="400" /></div>
<br />
And here is my page:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uouJrM4m9nY/WGW2b52uIvI/AAAAAAAAE90/-00D0HhvRvAEwtrTyPg3H4pwCkkg89ooACLcB/s1600/_S4A1939.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uouJrM4m9nY/WGW2b52uIvI/AAAAAAAAE90/-00D0HhvRvAEwtrTyPg3H4pwCkkg89ooACLcB/s640/_S4A1939.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />Lots of handmade goodies on my page, and I had great fun creating a non-traditional Christmas themed page using pretty colours.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6pu6C25Oibc/WGW2ZqUvgXI/AAAAAAAAE9s/BtPfJ0hag38NWeiTOUivHMep22GJSTF8ACLcB/s1600/_S4A1944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6pu6C25Oibc/WGW2ZqUvgXI/AAAAAAAAE9s/BtPfJ0hag38NWeiTOUivHMep22GJSTF8ACLcB/s640/_S4A1944.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is my <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> Star paired with half a vellum bow from <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MiNyGexZF3Y/WGW2aPVqxsI/AAAAAAAAE9w/dspVMuQynHw4IKSUczlefa8GkxDx8eRWQCLcB/s1600/_S4A1945.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MiNyGexZF3Y/WGW2aPVqxsI/AAAAAAAAE9w/dspVMuQynHw4IKSUczlefa8GkxDx8eRWQCLcB/s640/_S4A1945.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This little cluster has a button and silver glitter star from <a href="http://burdysembellies.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Burdy's Embellies</a> (one of her gorgeous kits). <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ollU4qBGZYA/WGW2b0KZb5I/AAAAAAAAE94/5lBmeP4HRzMMOsGaWljhwFD-l1_1qLdBgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1946.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ollU4qBGZYA/WGW2b0KZb5I/AAAAAAAAE94/5lBmeP4HRzMMOsGaWljhwFD-l1_1qLdBgCLcB/s640/_S4A1946.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
A pretty pin with a pretty wood veneer star from Rainbow Splendour, and the cute little silver stars are from the same Burdy's Embellies kit that I mentioned earlier. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pVRlC1vQ1i4/WGW2cQ9ahjI/AAAAAAAAE98/NaHmkeGiBRcuvBlwfBidDt6ATwxG4fvJgCLcB/s1600/_S4A1947.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pVRlC1vQ1i4/WGW2cQ9ahjI/AAAAAAAAE98/NaHmkeGiBRcuvBlwfBidDt6ATwxG4fvJgCLcB/s640/_S4A1947.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And this cute star paperclip was also in the kit from Burdy's Embellies.<br />
<br />
So, I managed to sneak this one in just before the end of the month, maybe I will go and see if I can squeeze another challenge in before the month ends!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />

Look for the group on Facebook if you haven't, it is a lot of fun, and we are in to the second week with plenty more to come. Each week you are given rooms (2 to choose from) to inspire you or with things you need to include, today I am going to share with you the page that I made for the first week, "bedroom week". This was the inspiration:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="" class="spotlight" height="400" src="https://scontent-syd1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/12592754_1158513607506980_556884594974389749_n.jpg?oh=b5191745a8838ddeaabe29886f2aa55c&oe=5873AE4B" width="400" /></div>
<br />
Lots to be inspired about in this photo and the colour scheme is simply gorgeous. This is the page that ended up with, and it was all about the colours paired with the crisp white.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yNbRA2j83sg/V9nNEseXicI/AAAAAAAAE60/xsd8cmJeDM4bcz9Q5r-Fsdqq0Y-6m8jSACLcB/s1600/_S4A9158.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yNbRA2j83sg/V9nNEseXicI/AAAAAAAAE60/xsd8cmJeDM4bcz9Q5r-Fsdqq0Y-6m8jSACLcB/s640/_S4A9158.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have included goodies from some a couple of our sponsors on the page too. There are Burdy's Embellies and a Charms Creations too.<br />

This <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-light-blue-silver-glitter-teal-heavenly-hearts" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> pastel hessian heart was the perfect colour match for this page, and I just love layering with these, adding word strips, flair and die-cuts underneath.<br />

<br />
Isn't this bookpaper heart button cute?! It is a special design from <a href="http://burdysembellies.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Burdy's Embellies</a>. See the little wood veneer flower on top? That was coloured using gelatos, just smudged into the wood, it is my new favourite way to colour wood veneer. <br />

<b><i><span style="color: purple;">This next bit is a special for my good friend's little girl Katy....</span></i></b><br />
<br />
<span style="color: purple;">Hi Katy, </span><br />
<span style="color: purple;"><br />I am not sure that I have the original choc chip cookie recipe that your mum remembers, but this is the one I use now that my kid's love and everyone who tries it loves too! The trick is to use more choc chips than what the recipe says! (I love chocolate!!)</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: purple;"><u><b>Choc Chip Cookies</b></u></span><br />
<span style="color: purple;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: purple;">125g softened butter</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1/2 cup raw sugar</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1/3 cup + 2 tespoons soft brown sugar firmly packed</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1/2 teaspoon vanilla (although I am known not to measure this and up to 1 teaspoon is OK)</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1 large egg</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">2/3 cup self raising flour</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1 cup plain flour</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">1 cup of choc chips (I usually add 1 1/2 - 2 cups, I get the buttons and break them into smaller chunks and also do a mix of dark, milk and white chocolate)</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: purple;">Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper. (You will probably need two trays for baking)</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">Cream the butter and sugars until light in colour and the sugar has dissolved, add the vanilla and egg and mix well.</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">Using a wooden spoon slowly add the flours mixing well to form a dough.</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">Add the choc chips and blend through the dough.</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">Put spoons full of the mix onto a tray leaving some room for them to expand (just how big or small you make them is up to you!)</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;">Bake for about 10 - 12 minutes (this may vary a little depending on the size of the cookie and how dark you like the colour, I like mine lighter and a little chewy so this timing is usually pretty good).</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: purple;">Make sure you get mum to take a photo of you with your cookies when you make them to send to me!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: purple;">Lots of love, big Katie xxx</span><br />

One of these was a blind scrap, now I didn't get to do this in real time (assignment work to be done!) but I did sit down later when I had some time to spare and had a go. Well it was one of the fastest pages that I have ever completed! So now I am sharing my page here:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-N8KGoRsw3Rg/V76LgQma_9I/AAAAAAAAE6M/ZrTpNU5nVwkba2AmBHYIBmVBKDbD3c0_gCLcB/s1600/_S4A8948.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-N8KGoRsw3Rg/V76LgQma_9I/AAAAAAAAE6M/ZrTpNU5nVwkba2AmBHYIBmVBKDbD3c0_gCLcB/s640/_S4A8948.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Of course I added some of my favourite D-lish goodies (can you spy the journal spots, beautiful doily, puffy stickers, enamel stickers and wood veneer title?!). To this I have added some of my other favourite goodies, Charms Creations and Rainbow Splendour.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFXd5LTyw7Q/V76Le8Ks72I/AAAAAAAAE6E/GsdYscrOy_QTUwSpvAQqRqiBAdUTblTTQCLcB/s1600/_S4A8950.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFXd5LTyw7Q/V76Le8Ks72I/AAAAAAAAE6E/GsdYscrOy_QTUwSpvAQqRqiBAdUTblTTQCLcB/s640/_S4A8950.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I just love this little emoticon wood veneer from <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a>. And this teal chevron from <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/category/chevrons" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a>, well it's teal so it is fabulous! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fAxI6Ca0oyk/V76Lf8EzqUI/AAAAAAAAE6I/eDE2AXM_u6EglhYY_K8ZcujYTbXiJ-OJwCLcB/s1600/_S4A8951.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fAxI6Ca0oyk/V76Lf8EzqUI/AAAAAAAAE6I/eDE2AXM_u6EglhYY_K8ZcujYTbXiJ-OJwCLcB/s640/_S4A8951.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I took my wood veneer title and rubbed some gelato over it to give it colour. It is a great way to add a nice smooth colour to wood veneer. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-krJ29sDJ7D0/V76LgZfjVfI/AAAAAAAAE6Q/otmLWqCV074SeP6ldA9GFKEgttl8aeF-QCLcB/s1600/_S4A8952.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-krJ29sDJ7D0/V76LgZfjVfI/AAAAAAAAE6Q/otmLWqCV074SeP6ldA9GFKEgttl8aeF-QCLcB/s640/_S4A8952.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And this wood veneer is from Rainbow Splendour, also coloured with gelatos. Did you spy the touches of foil around the page too?!<br />
<br />
Just a quick share today.<br />
<br />
Thanks for dropping by,<br />

It is a great inspiration photo...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sp-k8mrJg80/V572DY-_PcI/AAAAAAAABrE/2G2z1G2tt-M2pdhbRwJlo_oKvcnFzmt_wCLcB/s400/August%2BCh.jpg" style="border: medium none; position: relative;" width="260" /></div>
<br />
<br />
I was inspired by the butterflies and music and also the rainbow of colours, so I new I had to get out my colourful supplies!<br />
<br />
This is what I came up with:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4r7Dk4aHCDM/V7eJmlH1YmI/AAAAAAAAE5s/g51V48e9megnQVNFxdbbHHRneLKVzcYRACLcB/s1600/_S4A7619.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4r7Dk4aHCDM/V7eJmlH1YmI/AAAAAAAAE5s/g51V48e9megnQVNFxdbbHHRneLKVzcYRACLcB/s640/_S4A7619.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I had a great music stencil and I used this with a rainbow selection of Colour Blast pastes to create my background. I love how it turned out, such vibrant colours with texture to boot! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cFMgRhbPLOY/V7eJnBW620I/AAAAAAAAE5w/dpDCcFVRZm4Mk7TJqJVUXh3yY0qALy54ACLcB/s1600/_S4A7620.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cFMgRhbPLOY/V7eJnBW620I/AAAAAAAAE5w/dpDCcFVRZm4Mk7TJqJVUXh3yY0qALy54ACLcB/s640/_S4A7620.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
These pretty little butterflies were created by using dylusion sprays on a piece of card and kind of randomly spraying them in the rainbow order and then punching out the butterflies when it was dry. To finish off some of the butterflies I used my decco foil glue pen to add some gold foil to the tips. I think that the glue pen is my new favourite toy! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CMMR7PjIefk/V7eJnapNb4I/AAAAAAAAE50/r5n3LY-YgbI-2xnthmWBcewMq3XrqtWDgCLcB/s1600/_S4A7622.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CMMR7PjIefk/V7eJnapNb4I/AAAAAAAAE50/r5n3LY-YgbI-2xnthmWBcewMq3XrqtWDgCLcB/s640/_S4A7622.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also added some gold foil to a <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-music-note-mixed-embellishments" target="_blank">Charms Creations</a> music paper star, some wood veneer music notes and I used the pen to write the word "Laughter" which I foiled and cut out for part of the title! You have to love a "little" gold on your page :)<br />
<br />
So if you haven't had a go at this challenge maybe you should! It is such a fun inspiration picture.<br />

<br />
I am popping today to share a page that I created playing with my pretty new <a href="http://rainbowsplendour.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">Rainbow Splendour</a> goodies! There was recently a new release and there are still a few goodies over on the blog if you haven't checked it out yet!<br />
<br />
One of the things that I was pretty pleased with (even if I do say so myself!) was some cut files that I designed to go with each of the kits. Here is a sneak photo of the cut files for the girly kit:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-snfcXQNQCLg/V7eFbX6ocMI/AAAAAAAAE5Q/KgZLtPCTdmwbtvySI3vCPoSNNS62SxQvgCLcB/s1600/_S4A8828.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-snfcXQNQCLg/V7eFbX6ocMI/AAAAAAAAE5Q/KgZLtPCTdmwbtvySI3vCPoSNNS62SxQvgCLcB/s400/_S4A8828.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I decided to take the open flower shape and create a background with it and use this as the basis for my page. And this is what I finished with...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yg_gkCu4UFc/V7eFvBIN8PI/AAAAAAAAE5Y/47tu83lJT3MH33ILY1IGIQUeqPWq3KRMACLcB/s1600/_S4A8941.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yg_gkCu4UFc/V7eFvBIN8PI/AAAAAAAAE5Y/47tu83lJT3MH33ILY1IGIQUeqPWq3KRMACLcB/s640/_S4A8941.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I have been admiring for ages the fabulous pages others had been making by backing cut outs with patterned paper and I really wanted to give it a go, and this is how it turned out. I learned too that there are easy and hard ways for tracing shapes to cut out to back each flower! I used quite a few bits and pieces from the kit to help finish off my page too. Can you spot them? <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-einAv9yQu7Y/V7eFuCuEX0I/AAAAAAAAE5U/FLb7gXW5vFU27Wfz7QXukqvqHdHP4RMSgCLcB/s1600/_S4A8944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-einAv9yQu7Y/V7eFuCuEX0I/AAAAAAAAE5U/FLb7gXW5vFU27Wfz7QXukqvqHdHP4RMSgCLcB/s640/_S4A8944.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love the new wood veneer flowers, I foiled mine with gold to give them some shine. To do this I used my decco foil glue pen and some Heidi Swapp gold foil. Just cover the wood veneer with the glue and burnish the foil once it has dried (no need for heating with a laminator or minc!!!). Sometimes the glue gets sucked into the wood, so you may need to do this a few times, and even then it may not be perfect, but is still finishes up looking pretty cool. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2WHAWVjjvg8/V7eFvwdNCBI/AAAAAAAAE5g/iQ00op5InIoedflJsEHcSISQeLpGkusPwCLcB/s1600/_S4A8945.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2WHAWVjjvg8/V7eFvwdNCBI/AAAAAAAAE5g/iQ00op5InIoedflJsEHcSISQeLpGkusPwCLcB/s640/_S4A8945.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The larger wood veneer with gold foil, you can see that not all of it is covered, but it still looks fine! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XRDAI2fSYow/V7eFv_9R-1I/AAAAAAAAE5c/GosXwhcf9BgW0hHD5b6bL9nOBbF_3LT7wCLcB/s1600/_S4A8946.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XRDAI2fSYow/V7eFv_9R-1I/AAAAAAAAE5c/GosXwhcf9BgW0hHD5b6bL9nOBbF_3LT7wCLcB/s640/_S4A8946.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And here I have my little embellishment cluster with some other favourites. A <a href="http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/product/made-to-order-bright-hessian-hearts-no-button" target="_blank">Charms Creations </a>heart, a pretty vellum bow, some glitter leaves and a <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/" target="_blank">D-lish Scraps</a> journal spot. the little heart on top is from one of the cloud wood veneers (also from Rainbow Splendour) and it is foiled too.<br />
<br />
So a relatively simple layout, but with lots of details. Loving how it turned out!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by,<br />
