Good Morning,
Let me just say that it is nice to be on holidays and be able to just potter about on my own time rather than racing around to someone else's tune! Lots of time for doing stuff that I want to do, and that includes creating! Yay!
Today I am sharing a page that I created inspired by the Rainbow Splendour Whimsy Glitz kit and inspiration board. But as always I have also included a Charms Creations on my page too! And it so happened that I had the perfect colour heart in my stash to match the colour palette for the inspiration board.
Here is the board:
And using this colour scheme I created this page:
Now isn't it funny how colours can change so much depending on what viewing screen you are looking at! When I first started this page the purple colour looked much more like a royal blue, hence that darker blue in my page, oh well, I still love the final result and I was able to use lots of pretty stuff from the Rainbow Splendour kit and the soft pretty hessian heart from Charms Creations.
Isn't this a great colour match?! You can buy a set of pretty pastel hessian hearts here. I have also managed to use a few of the goodies I recently purchased from Studio 1440 including a flair button and some of the cut apart words.
Are you loving the wood veneer hearts? The two bigger ones are from Rainbow Splendour (the smaller of the two is on a pin), and the tiny one is a Studio 1440 design. The cute little felt bow and gold glitter frame are also from RS and came in the kit.
So that is it for now. Rainbow Splendour are having a new release night tonight with two new gorgeous kits ready for release so make sure you tune in for that! And Charms Creations has a release night next week on the 27th June so mark that one in your diaries too!

Rainbow Splendour Share
Good Morning! Back today with another share, this time from Rainbow Splendour, who is gearing up for a sale this week too!
Last month coinciding with the release of two fabulous kits were two inspiration boards and challenges to use the kits. Here are the two boards:
Gorgeous aren't they?! Well I have created pages using both kits and inspiration from each board and today I will share my Wild Adventure page.
I was inspired by the idea of adventures and the colour palatte and used a photo of a family bush walk.
Can you see all the lovely bits from the kit?! There is the wood veneer planes, the map pinwheel and frame, the plane vellum and embossed card. And the great thing was there was still left overs and I will be able to create at least another page with those bits and pieces!
I love the texture from the embossed card. And I have added in a Charms Creations in one of my new favourite colours, sea green, not to mention the awesome cogs that match perfectly from Burdy's Embellies.
Loving this tangerine dream texture paste from Colour Blast, such a vibrant colour!
Aren't these wood veneer planes just too cute! Perfect for little boys pages or travel pages or just about anything really!

Kraft+ for June
Better a bit late than not at all, and it is still June and plenty of time to do this challenge so all is not lost!
This month at Kraft+ the challenge is this:
Definitely one that you can have a lot of fun with. I kept my page reasonably simple, but with lots of bright colour! I have been waiting to use this Kaiser Craft range of paper for some time, and with black and white photos and Kraft background this was the perfect opportunity.
I found a free image on line of a puzzle and then created a cut file for my Silhouette, then all I had to do was decide which papers to use!
Add in some gorgeous foil flair from Flutterby Designs...
A gorgeous teal heart from Charms Creations and wood veneer from Rainbow Splendour...
and a few other little bits and bobs and the page was done!
Make sure you head over to the Kraft+ blog to check out the other great designs by the creative team and have a go yourself.

Some Sharing!
Well, it has been a little quiet over here on my blog, mainly through no spare time due to studies. But I am now officially on break and have time to do other things! Yay!!! I am so in need of spending some time at my craft desk without feeling guilty.
So today I thought I would share the page the I created for Kraft+ for May. I will pop June's (still current even!) up soon.
The criteria for May was to be inspired by this image, and Kraft of course!
At first this one freaked me out and I wasn't sure where to start or which way to go. But I got my act together took a deep breath and just started. I really love the page that I finished with, which ended up taking in the basic design and layout of the image and also the colours, with lots of retro style ephemera for added interest.
Not typically my style, but a fun page none the less! I even managed to include a Charms Creations hessian heart and one of the new paper plane wood veneers from Rainbow Splendour.
Lots of layering of fun little bits and pieces. I love how they don't have any real theme, just layered to look interesting.
I love these teal coloured hessian hearts, so pretty and lots of texture and great to layer with too.
I even did some hand stitching on this one! Are you impressed?!
