Now, I know that I am a bit late with blogging my Scrap the Boys page, but in my defense I have been running around like a crazy woman finishing off Kindy photos for the year! So, today I have a bit of free time... better late than never I say!
This month is a great photo inspiration for Scrap the Boys:
And given how much my Liam loves his food this was an easy one! I played with some of the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla collection that I won a little while ago and finished with this:
I love how easily this page came together with the Cocoa Vanilla "Made of Awesome" as my starting point!
Those vellum stars are too cute! And the die cuts are awesome!
I even managed to include a Charms Creations Terrific Tab. These are such versatile little embellishments, and perfect for layering with!
So there you go, now it is your turn to go and scrap your boy!

Scrapbooking Top 50 November Challenge
Morning! Charms Creations are a sponsor over at Scrapbooking Top 50 this month and we got a chance to play with their very tropical mood board!
My first thought when I saw this board was cool colours! Then I thought I could create something a bit like the umbrellas using my stash of Charms Creations "O's", so I did! This is what I finished with:
It was just lucky that lots of paper collections had fruit prints! I had a great range of paper to choose from! And the photo (even though it is an older one) had the perfect colours for this board.
Now don't laugh too hard at my stitching attempt! I know I need to work on those French knots. But I think the "fruit" turned out pretty cool!
I love using a wood veneer word as a title, it makes life so simple! I think this one is from Freckled Fawn.
Some simple neutral embellishments help to finish off the page.
So, are you going to have a go at this challenge?!
Thanks for stopping by.

November Challenge at Charms Creations
This month at Charms Creations we have a cool challenge in keeping with the idea of "Mo-vember", here is the inspiration for the challenge:
Now, the first thing that inspired me from this collection was the water colour circles with their different mo's, so I used this as my starting point for my page.
I pulled out my brights gelatos set and selected a few colours and greated my water colour spots, leaving a space in between for my photos. These spots made a great place to add embellishments so I added lots of mo's (these came from Charm in one of our orders, cool aren't they?!), and a few other bits from some Heidi Swapp ephemera that I had lying around.
One of the "O's" was a perfect addition and in keeping with the feel of the page, and this red spotty mo needed it's own special place.
I think the black mo here was in a set of wood veneer from Typo. Got to love that store for having some cool bits and pieces!
And I had to fix up the "f" in the title with it's own mo too! This was a little sticker.
Well, I think I can safely say this was a fun layout to make and it makes me smile to look at too!
I hope you check out the challenge and maybe have a go yourself too!

Kraft+ November Challenge
This month over at Kraft+ the challenge is Kraft plus "Inspired by P!nk" as in the singer not the colour! I love her songs so it didn't take much for me to add this to my "to do" list for the month.
I have been inspired lately by Amanda Hall's work of printing directly onto kraft backgrounds and building up from there and decided that could work well with this challenge. I did a bit of searching on-line and came up with this P!nk cover that I liked.
So I started with this and made my own version of it in Photoshop and printed it directly onto kraft cardstock and then added some extras to finish it off. I kinda like how it turned out too!
I chose to use the words from the song "Perfect" instead for my title. And because it was printed on kraft the colours are all a bit muted, but I love this and think I will be doing it again!
A little Charms Creations tab was a good fit for my embellishment cluster.
And the bottom cluster with a heavenly heart and some cool washi in the same diamond pattern as on the background. I am still loving these little word stickers, my go to item at the moment, these ones are from Crate Paper.

Happy November!
Well today is the beginning of November and also I guess the downhill run into the end of the year. It is crazy just how fast this year feels like it has flown by. Is anyone else feeling it?!
But new month means new challenges are revealed and today I am sharing the page that I created for the Scrap the Girls November challenge. This month it is a great sketch:
And there are plenty of great prizes too, check out all the details on the blog here and also see the other fabulous samples created by the team. And this is the page that I created, I am not one to use circular photos much so it is definitely an adaption!
I just love the bright pink and black combination, and lots of little girly touches thrown in for good measure!
For the tags I have used journal spots and tabs. I love adding in words either on stickers or tabs, they are great for layering.
And this Charms Creation in my stash was too cute and I thought it went perfectly with the photos.
So you have seen my take on the sketch, check out the rest of the teams and then have a go too! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
