Sharing a new page today that I created for the WW1 August colour which is custard.
Now, I love custard and I love yellow, so thought that this was a must do this month! The only problem is that some of my custard colour ending up being a bit more golden. That is what you get for taking at face value the label that says custard on your spray mist! Not to worry, I toned some of it down with a bit of white gesso.
Now what better pictures to use for a gorgeous shade of yellow than beach photos?! And with my DS wearing his blue swim shirt it set it all off beautifully. I love adding touches of black for contrast in my WW1 pages.
What do you think of my Charms Creations DIY star? I used some matching liquid pearls and created outlines of stars inside to brighten it up, almost looks like a sun!
I love using the D-lish Scraps wordfetti too, they are a great way to add some words and this set just happened to be in blacks and yellows!
Well, that's all for now, thanks for stopping by.
